Common questions

Things people often ask

How do I know which service my watch needs?
You do not need to know in advance. Bring or send the watch and we will assess it carefully and write up what we found. From there you can decide calmly what to do next. There is no obligation to proceed.
How long will my watch be with you?
A Service Check & Clean takes about one to two weeks. A Movement Overhaul is typically around three weeks. Fine Restoration work is five to eight weeks depending on the condition and complexity. We will confirm a more precise estimate once we have seen your watch.
Do you work on all brands and types of mechanical watch?
We work on most mechanical watches, including vintage pieces and watches from major Swiss and Japanese manufacturers. Highly complex complications or very rare movements may require referral; if so we will say so honestly after inspection.
Can I send my watch by post?
Yes, though we recommend contacting us first so we can advise on packaging. Watches should be well-padded, tracked, and insured for their value. We are not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit before or after work.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash in Thai Baht, bank transfer, and PromptPay. Payment is due on collection or prior to return shipping. We will confirm all costs with you before any work begins.
What if parts need to be replaced?
If any components require replacement, we will discuss this with you before ordering. We source parts from reputable suppliers and keep records of what was used. You retain the option to decline any part of the recommended work.
